He has previously served as a student clinician at the Samaritan ministries free medical clinic in Winston-Salem, as well as a clinic volunteer and phlebotomist at a general medicine clinic in Madison County. Dr. Runheim is an avid traveler and athlete. His hobbies include soccer, tennis, golf, and ice hockey.
Dr. Runheim continues to pursue the best possible solutions and care for his patients. He continues to research new modalities that improve neurology care and outcomes. Dr. Runheim is committed to advancing the care of patients in pain, those with neurological conditions, and those that want an improved quality of life. He has a particular interest in getting people back to activity, sports, recreation, and enjoying their lives.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Runheim loves spending time with his family, including his 2 very active kids, or running, biking, golf, or soccer.
