Andreas Runheim, MD

Dr. Runheim earned his B.S. from Mars Hill College in 1997 before receiving his M.D. from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2001. He completed his Internal Medicine internship at the University of North Carolina Hospitals (2001–2002), followed by a Neurology residency at Duke University Medical Center (2002–2005) and a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Duke (2005–2006). He is board-certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology.
Clinical Interests
Outside of his practice, Dr. Runheim enjoys spending time with his family, including his two active children, and is passionate about running, biking, golf, ice hockey, tennis, pickleball and soccer.
